I randomly felt like drawing a crocodile, and it's one of the species mentioned in my journal that I hadn't drawn yet, so here's a crocodile! I'm actually kinda proud of this, especially considering it contains two different things I usually consider myself worst at (reptiles and muscles).
Was attempting that particular sort of top-heavy and cartoonishly muscular physique...like, almost 'Johnny Bravo'-esque. Since it's a build that fits a crocodile well, in my opinion. And tried some celshading to see if I could make it look good whilst keeping it simple, since it needed a bit of scale detail.
Also, those scaly webbed feet and hands were insanely fun to draw. XD

Thanks! I did a lot of looking at photos of crocodiles when I was trying to decide the colours and figure out the shape of the scales in various areas...I noticed their scales are a lot like a mixture of cobblestone and square tiles (including on the belly, though they're still arranged in clear rows like the bands I drew), which would indeed look very cluttered on something like this!
