One of the two acrylic paintings I completed in my 15-week SmART School On-line class last spring. My teacher was Dan Dos Santos, a popular Sf-Fantasy book cover artist.
The start of this piece was three cards from the ‘Reckless Deck’...’wings’, ‘scroll’, and ‘animal companion/spirit guide’.
It went thru many changes before finally ending up in its final form here.
I am very proud of this piece, and I worked very hard to finish it. It is the best painting I have ever done, and I learned so much during its creation.
A lot of credit goes to my teacher, and to my friend Diana Stein, who made many good suggestions along the way.
