Back with me and her. The chapter is shorter but that's okay since next month it won't be. I love how she came out.

Slow Month
March then came and it was just before the tournament that Malika had heard about would start. It would begin in April. The female Anubian Jackal was keen for this as she would finally see Nicholas in action and find a weakness of his. Malika was looking forward to finding one to beat the fosky especially with what had happened last month. While Rachel had been fun, the fact she had to be with Nicholas ruined it. And definitely with being considered a couple with the fosky and asked by the little coyote where she stood in her relationship with the male. Just thinking it made the Anubian Jackal go red and get angry. Then it came to images in her head of punching Nicholas. “We’ll see who’s the better one after this,” she declared to herself with an evil grin.
The fosky in the meantime had to still juggle his duties before the tournament happened. In addition he sometimes had to see the farmers off as the planting season had begun. This always happened before the tournament. At least the male wasn’t planning on loosing this time. And if it did happen, it wouldn’t be the end of the world. Even so, he hoped that Malika would watch so that female could learn that he could take her on at any time. Still, there were thoughts about what had been happening between him and her, especially from last month. They left Nicholas confused and then angry. If he really hated Malika, then why were they there? From how she looked at times, as she appeared beautiful, her smile, how she handled Rachel, and everything else. The fosky would then growl and shake his head. This was nothing and just merely a distraction. “That bitch will be put in her place,” the male then growled.
As the tournament was getting closer, the city began to prepare for it as there were others from different cities who would compete in this. There were all kinds of species as well. As such, Nicholas was expected with the rest of his family to prepare for these new arrivals as it was for Morgan. The gorgeous female coyote was up for it and did ask Nicholas if he wanted to help her study the list. The fosky wasn’t sure if that was the best idea as he felt that she was too distracting. Besides, the male felt it wouldn’t be too hard and that there could be better ways of trying to hook up with Morgan. She understood though when he said no as she thought he might be the one who needed help. “Now then… how to do it?” Nicholas wondered in his head after just talking with her. The guy figured he would try to begin after the tournament was finished.
Just then, the guy heard the sound of music coming from a room. It was on his right. “What the hell?” he asked.
Nicholas took a peak around the door and his eyes widened in shock. It was Malika. She was the one dancing to the music. Her eyes were closed and her arms were above her head. The female’s body swayed slightly back and forth. The Anubian Jackal then took some steps and spun around in place. The fosky just stared with wide eyes and blushed as he had never seen such beauty while a female danced before. The way her long white hair, hips, and ass moved; it was like nothing the guy had seen. Nicholas then realized what he was doing and quickly moved. Malika didn’t catch him but the fosky was left breathing hard as his mind went over the image of her dancing like that. “What the hell is wrong with me?” he whispered to himself and how in his body the guy liked seeing her like that. Nicholas didn’t care what or why Malika was dancing like that, but it was a beautiful sight. The guy then snarled and shook those thoughts off as he still remembered how the female acted around him. The Anubian Jackal was a bitch and not worth his time at all. Nicholas then continued on his way, his focus now on the tournament. But what the two didn’t know was what would happen during it.
