Edit: April 2011: moved to scraps in my Spring Gallery Clean
Just a lil creature that's been in my head for a bit. I've been thinking of continuing with making a fursuit. I've been researching resin castings, follow you eyes and various ways to do digigrade legs. I decided they look better with hooves if I'm to wear it as anything else just looks VERY over sized (I am just that tiny)
so i've been toying with an equine type thing..or with cloven hooves. and what better way to mix both worlds than with a unicorn. however me being me I can't have anything that looks halfway normal right? right. and after looking up many horse markings and ways other people create unicorns I opted for the deer like, mythical unicorn type. not the horse based one. of course I also like long fur and lots of fuzz, hence the mass amount of long fur on this here gal.
the markings are based on an American Paint Horse, with many alterations..including color. leg markings are from the ancestor of hte horse (can't remember what the little thing was called....) dual horns as I like them better and light bue eyes just cause. and a 'third' hoof joint like a deer has. also reminisent of the horses ancestor, which have five-8 'toes'. still toying with color and marking ideas. but I will likely do a white fur (a white base) for the fursuit so its basically adding other markings and such. any suggestions are welcome.
