Soooooo, I've gotten pretty into Paw Patrol despite it being for much younger audiences.
Of the main cast, Rocky is my favorite, so naturally my first bit of Paw Patrol fanart is of him.
I just love his little cap and how his green outfit goes with his grey color scheme.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to just keep this a sketch or to make it colored. I obviously eventually decided to color it, but I really wanted to do shading and stuff. However, I couldn't make the shading work out the way I wanted and just decided to settle for line shaded flats. The hardest part of coloring stuff is figuring out what color would fit best in the background to make the picture look good.

Aww he's a good pup.
I'm liking how excited he looks and how the fur overlaps with the color.
Though I don't know if it's just me, but he's looking a bit older in this picture, but I have to say I kind of like it, makes him look handsome in a scruffy way with that fur on his chin looking like a goatee. Again I don't know if it's just me, I just wanted to let you know my thoughts :I
