Well... there's a strong possibility that "River" just turned up, so the best way for Gary to get naked, is if he says:
"Hey wait a sec, that's the hot girl on your phone... and she's actually a guy? I'm cool with that, he's still hot, like me, let's go have a threesome in the alley"
I can dream right?

Man, Cooper really got himself into a pickle, the guy just really needs to get his act together. Also, Gary seems like a pretty enthusiastic fella, but it's also nice to see he seems to have grown into a decent guy, and his shacking up someplace else just makes me more curious about him. And that expression in the final panel is definitely fitting for that old saying, "one picture can say a thousand words".
I have a feeling that the person serving will be “River” and Cooper will soon realize that “River” isn’t a girl but a guy in drag. Can’t wait to see what happens next. Also hope to see more Andy and Emery in the story, really want to know what happens to them as they’ve been absent for a very long time
Oh wait, hang on, in the 3rd panel, that background guy in green, he was at Chelsea's party! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/25789184/
Perhaps. xD Though I myself was more intrigued by the dark-colored dude in the red shirt, the one next to Andy: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/25789184/
Now HE was *cute*! LOL!

Just in case you guys can't find him, here is Gary's first appearance in Summer's Gone. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/26210535/
Aw man! I fell in love with the grey B/W Gary. Now that he's coloured he's not as attractive. Something about his white eyebrows definitely added to his attraction when he was grey Gary.
I still like the way he's always concerned for Coop. He seems like a good friend to have....His floppy little ears are still great too.

Jackaloo's artwork sure has improved.
The first Gary I laid eyes on tends to be the most attractive and I was taken aback that Gary looks so different in colour. Plus Summer's Gone had so many "feel" moments to it to make him so lovable. I also like the going back through time concept of the comic which made Summer's Gone feel like a journey. And twice Gary was involved in that journey and once again the second time he was shown he was trying to help out our protagonist-antagonist?, character with a lot of issues to work out? I'm unsure which type of character Coops is up to this point?
*Sorry if my reply sounds more like an essay than a reply*

It sure has. :D
Well, I guess it just feels like this Gary (the colored one) is a different character, then? But Its still the same guy. Gary did mention on this page that he would have offered Coop a place to stay, except Gary's already moving in with, presumably, his girlfriend, so that wouldn't work out. So he's still his helpful self, just that circumstances prevent him from doing so. Thus, he offers more positive "guy talk" to try and raise Cooper's spirits.

OOOOOOOOOH SHIZ'ABOUT TO GET REAL!
Obviously Cooper isn't reacting well to finding out that River did in fact bring a "snake" to the show. What I'm curious about is how he is going to react with Gary right there watching the whole thing and knowing that Coop had the hots for a drag queen.
P.S. I know I said it in the shouts, (so I'm not trying to be annoying) but can we get a Vic and Roger (from "After the Party") cameo? That would be so awesome!

My fishy instincts tell me that Cooper and Gary would make the most adorable couple. If the Garemeister is up for it and Cooper too for that matter? Gary did break up with Holly in Summer's Gone for a reason. Could it be that Gary's not telling us everything about himself?....??????.....🤔
"Oh shiiiiit! Ha! Think she's into you?"
"I think so. If I had the chance I'd totally-"

I suppose I have to be the only one with a dissenting view of things. After the perfect pacing of Volume One, and some great stuff earlier in this volume, the pacing has screeched to a halt. And a lot of things have been introduced that add a lot of bulk to what started as a simple but very ripe and engaging story of what I'd call a "love triangle with complications." There's plenty of room for a fantastic, rich comic there without trying to be the War And Peace of comics.
First we have Avery hanging out with strip club owners and what else? Maybe it's just me, but I got the impression from his characterization in volume one that he had some class. And before you think it; yes, he wanted an intern with benefits. But he did, remember, be completely up front about it, and he was never, ever crass or cheap about it. He even seemed a little cutely coy when first bringing it up, and later expected a dress-up dinner date (where they goofed on the "dress code").
Now we have subplot after subplot of dancers and bouncers and club owners and lord knows what else and a, unless a major "fill in the holes with several pages of flashback" section is on the way, total abandonment of the utterly critical kiss moment they had on New Years. Really, everyone just kinda wandered on from such a gut-wrenching moment? Seriously?
Cooper finally had a moment where he crashed through years of repression. That is a major, major, MAJOR moment in character, and speaks volumes of his unspoken, maybe even unacknowledged, feelings for Andy; and it's dropped like a sack of potatoes.
Some caveats - I haven't seen any of the companion/side project comics, so I'm only able to follow the main comic being shown here on FA. Having said that, you shouldn't need them. Also, I have no idea what's coming, so I have to admit that maybe I'm being impatient and the next page will tie this all together somehow. But I doubt it. And last, the artwork and especially the work on people's expressions are just absolutely awesome!
I would love to see the focus return to the relationship triad that popped out of volume one. It was much more interesting than titty club dancers, and has oceans of relationship material it could explore.
So I'm sorry, go ahead and hate me, but I'm baffled at the abandonment of crucial life moments, and a sudden explosion of characters and plot threads. I know a comic needs more than just an unrelenting focus on the main story, but I shudder to say that the last few pages have gotten, oh my gosh, dull.
