Many years ago, here at Oriole Gardens (condo complex) in Margate, Florida, my late mother Sheila Shell Martinez, used to bring her various works of art to the clubhouse auditorium for its semi-annual "Arts & Crafts Show", to display and sell. Her talents included oil paintings, watercolors, pencil sketches, hieroglyphics, and sculptures. I've even took a picture of Mom with a collection of her best material - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9067183/ - which included "Hybrid" (an animal amalgam), which also appears in my 'Scraps' section - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/23129613/ .
Earlier this month, I'd learned that O.G. was holding a 2019 edition of said "Arts & Crafts Show"; so, I had decided to bring a few of Mom's oil paintings (which I'd inherited, following her passing in 2006), and attempt to display and sell them myself. The only work of art I'd sold was the landscape (lower right corner), that was featured in my picture of Mom.
Prior to said sale, I had one of the other vendors take a 'photo-op' of me with Mom's paintings. I was wearing my "Pagoda" T-shirt (from Reading, Pennsylvania), and carried my new 'Judy Hopps" plushie from "Zootopia (which I'll describe in a new "Zootopia Memento" segment, later on).
