The internet told me I'm a Fairy Type and here's my precious child.

TRAOBELF the Tracking Pokemon

DEX ENTRY: During summer Traobelf tend to rest most of the day near mud pools. Mud stored in their brush like appendices become a paint-like fuild similar to Smeargle's

This nocturnal pokemon move in the woods leaving tracks on the ground and the trees. pokemon and expert trainers know how to move in to an unexplored area following their trail

Fairy type tend to be very round and based on magic/folkore in general. Early concept was: "Fluffy forest being that map the area by leving a trail".
Traoblef is based on a boar. The basic idea was that they leave very notisable trails and also are quite common in woods near where i live. Tiny legs and his big body make the movements a bit awkward, so the dangling brushes always moves with them dropping paint on the ground o just making near rocks/brushes/tree ect ect. with brush stroke
Traoblef also has paint brushes, works well on the "leave a mark/sign behind" idea and also brushes can be make by using boar's hair.
At last the big pointy ears and the long blonde hair to remind to traobELF's status as a magic forest creature.
