Four old characters of mine that got revamp recently, so I figured I'd post them up here even though it's a pretty rough sketch. They're from Dystopian Sci-Fi sort of story, so let's meet this little gang!
Essie is small and very sweet, but for all her kindness she's also a bit rebellious. Johnny treats her like a little kid all the time even though she's not, though she certainly she acts like it. She knows he means well, but she's an adult, no matter what she likes or acts like! She still loves him and the others though and is quite a talented artist. Her dream is to one day be a fashion designer or a tattoo artist.
Sykes is afraid of just about everything. After witnessing the traumatic death of his parents when he was a boy, he struggles with PTSD. The only thing that seems to help him stay stable is caring for stray animals, which is rather difficult in the world they live in. He keeps those that don't make it in his heart by wearing their collars. Otherwise, he's very shy and sometimes stutters when he's anxious.
Kitkat is one of the oldest of this group, and she acts like it. She matured quickly as a young girl, her youth hastened by the harsh environment she and the others grew up in, and she can sometimes wear cynicism and bitterness like armor against good feelings. To others, she's cocky, brash, confident, and seductive. Only the other three 6th Street Kids ever really see her softer side.
Johnny is the oldest in the group and the one they turn to when in need. To him, they're family, and he can be a bit overprotective of them. He works the hardest out of all of them, doing work in a mechanic shop to make enough to keep the four of them afloat and together. He'd give up his life for any of them, and all he wants is for them to be happy, but he can be a little stern sometimes.
