So, recently I was selected to be an editor for the Write and Forge magazine (the same one where my article for "OutFOXed!" showed up last December), and with that position, I am now offered to write anything for the magazine. So I thought I'd finally dust off this old idea I had for a collection of short fantasy stories that are sort of a mix of Disney, Tolkein, and 80s fantasy films, that I had written back in 2017. This is one of the characters from these stories.

Tara Haz'l is the princess of the kingdom of Cedere. Unlike most other Disney Princesses who want to distance themselves from royalty and its rules, Tara doesn't mind being part of royalty, she just wants to change some of the rules that her father keeps trying to enforce on her. It's not until she meets a mysterious stranger that she starts to become more curious about life outside her own kingdom and what she can do to truly make a difference to herself, her kingdom, and even her father. But who is this stranger? Why does Tara have a fascination with ruling Cedere her own way? And why does her father give her strict rules as a princess? All these questions will be answered soon in the next few issues of Write and Forge, so keep an eye out for them.
