Pieces together... Sorry for the crudity of this photo. No camera.
All pre-paint. I'm still messing with the airbrush to make sure the final one looks how I want it instead of "it's done for school". They can kiss mah butt, I want it to look good. I've been rushed enough as is.
I still have a few holes to patch up on the seams. The face needs re-enforcement to keep it's shape and also for jaw movement. I tested how the neck moves, it's pretty good. Will be a little stiff, but that was expected. The ears stay up pretty well. They might need a little more stiffening to make sure they're not flopping all over the place when I move around. The fins for the arms need re-enforcement so they don't contort and they're also way too floppy. I want them to be like cartilage on a shark. Still need claws for the hands. Will be working on those tonight.

Oh, it's a tight in there, but I haven't cut the nose out or the ear holes. or the mouth. Haha. The arms are okay, they will get a bit sweaty, but we're also working on a cooling unit for her, perhaps with fans as well as tubes with water in them. :) Have

Yeah, I have the innards for the tail mechanism. Needs skin, the legs are being made by chimericalcreations and then I'm skinning those. And she needs her back fin!

Having constructed / wore a few full face masks and much creature affects, I should warn you.. You will need to be careful not to over heat while wearing the arms and mask. Its crazy how fast how you you get hot when your skin is not exposed to air. :)

chimericalcreations is making me a cooling unit for the costume and we're using light material for the clothing as well. No worries, we have thought this through :) I wore one of his cooling units before with the Millikan goblin pet and it worked great under that jacket.Thank you! :)
Coming together awesomely - you've really pulled out all the stops (and good lord, what a deadline)!
Once you get the wig on it'll look really, really good. It has that 'bald guy' look right now, but once you get it looking like it should then god damn it's going to be impressive.
You mention you're going to do a back part - what about the front? Do you have some form of clothing that covers the areas you won't be building sufficiently?

Well, now I'm debating her fin. But if I decide to keep the fin, I'll be making that part. She has some chest to her, but not much, just enough to cover.

THis is absolutely fantastic. It just keeps getting better and better all the time. I am really glad to have been able to watch the progress of these from your gallery and I think that you have a massive amount of skill and awesome :)
Though I have to say when I wasn't looking too hard at the thumbnails in my watchbox I saw the big ears and the little crome-dome that is serving for the top part of the head (until you finish it up with wig/feathers and stuff like you said to someon else XD) I just glanced briefly and was like "Green Goblin?...minus the green anyways" Though the actual product looks nothing like that I thought I'd saw the amusing thought as I passed it in the watchbox XD

You should so be proud of your self I'll have to watch you to see how this comes out finshed, I'm really enjoying looking at your work.
If you don't mind me asking, I am curious how did you make the hands / arms? Did you cast your own arms then add to it, brought already cast arms to build on to or something different? I only know how to make latex heads.

Thank you! I worked very hard on it and learned quite a lot with it too (pretty well as I went).
I used my own hands. I made casts of them first then sculpted off of them. So, the hands fit me and pretty tight. I need to use baby powder to get them on! haha
