Raiders and criminals beware, law is coming to the badlands...

Presenting my latest OC, Tristan Almolfi, a law enforcement officer in a small desert town. Born and raised in the Capital, Tristan's career as an officer took a nosedive when he was shunted off to one of the isolated sheriff stations in the uncivilised wastes. Removed from the hustle and bustle of the big city, and dropped into the lawless badlands, this bunny knew his reassignment was going to be tough... and likely have an unpleasant end.
Tristan and the other local Enforcers did their best to ensure safety and stability for the small community, and for a time things were peaceful with only a single major raider incident. But that peace never destined to last. A new arrival at the town would see our heroes world turned upside-down, and his life changed forever... ~

For a particularly simple picture, this (and its companion pictures) seemed to take an awfully long time to finish. But hurray! Tristan's done! I have a new character to play with... or more accurately, Nell has a new character to play with!
Originally, I always imagined this character with a more traditional cowboy look, but when I drew him as such, the earthy colours and his pale fur made for a very bland looking character - one you wouldn't look at twice. I decided to change him up a little and make him more 'law enforcement', using blues with a bit more contrast and giving him some beautiful bright eyes. I'm pretty happy with the result. And I think he's pretty enough to catch Nell's eye, which is the most important thing!
