My half of a trade with
Shadster. Its her fursona Senka and her mount, Theoden (http://www.furaffinity.net/full/2600285/).
This was lots of fun to do. Challenging but fun. The most interesting piece was the mask that Senka is wearing. Its steel with brass soldered on. The shaping part was by far the most difficult. I used a special spherical tool (that you pound on) to shape the upper part of the mask to get the distinct area between the top of the head and the muzzle piece. The sword was also fun, I have never cast metal onto metal. When the sword came out of the investment I about had a fit since I was afraid the blade was badly rusted, after a little sanding, that concern went away.
Theoden's saddle was another unusual thing for me. I haven't ever done a tilting saddle before. Its not that different to a western saddle though so not a huge departure from the norm.

The figures are both wire core with fabric skin. The rider's tail is coyote fur. The rider is wearing leather with Sharpie ornament and a brass on steel head piece. The rider's sword is cold forged steel wire with a bronze hilt and a leather sheath. The lion/horse has a leather tail and rabbit fur mane. The leg feathers are also dyed rabbit fur.
