Elias is a character dear to my heart, he's from some ideas I have for a new take on the classic "Beauty and the Beast" fairytale. In this version, the beast is a nobleman who killed a white deer as a trophy on a hunt, but the deer happened to belong to a powerful fae enchantress who then slaughtered the other men, and all the hounds and horses, but turned Elias into a mythical beast so that he would be punished by being hunted in turn.

His curse is permanent, he doesn't change back at the end of the story. There is a Bell, though, a lady hunter who is tasked with capturing the marauding beast to collect the bounty.
