I just played some games with stuff like a "healing cane" that heals instead of dealing damage, so me and my brother joked about there being a healing blade, hehe, and then with all the games that have "conjured up magical weapons", it just makes too much sense XD

Some of the forgotten realms games (Baldurs gate and icewind dale) had a funny bug/feature, where you could raise your resistance against an element above 100% and any attacks of that element would heal you instead of doing damage.

You could shower your Party with fireballs to heal!
