Finn my Standard Poodle fursuit is by far my cheapest fursuit bar none.
The head is a off the shelf mass made moveable mouth Standard Poodle mask. If you really take a good look at the construction you can see that its cheaply made. Now by looking at how it looks when someone is wearing it it looks good. There are other masks of its type that looks like shit but this one looks real good. This kind of head sells for somewhere between $50 and $95 I got mine for $17.99 plus tax and free fast shipping. I dont really expect it to hold up to a lot of use but I did not get it to really wear. I got it because it looked good and I thought it would make a nice addition to my fursuit collection. I did have to add some elastic to the mouth so the mouth would close as it tended to stay wide open.
The next most costly part was the dog tag. I got his dog tag from a pet store tag machine. I spent just over $10 on it.
Next came the fur to make his poodle poofy paw and tail fur. I spent $3 on a half yard of fur. The non poofy part of his tail was some scrap fur that I had lying around.
His collar I got at Dollar Tree for $1
The hand paws are quite old and if the photo was far better you could see that they are old and have been well used.
The feet paws where an experiment that I did years ago where I learned that I am not good at making feet paws.
When I was wearing it I had furs say that it looked like I spent somewhere between $1/000 to $1,500 on the fursuit. They where totally blown away when I told them that I had only spent $35 on it.
