Strange Civilizations 001 - Outset
24 strangers are plucked from a world not unlike our own, sent off to create magical civilizations that will stand the test of time. Alas, STRANGE is not one of them, being an outlier given a town mostly as an afterthought. What sort of civilization will she create, starting from such a handicap yet free from cosmic expectations set upon her?
A silly notion. WE shall decide her fate instead.
This is a slower paced BASE BUILDING game. Starting with STRANGE the Wolf and her Collection Of Rabbits, we shall make a wonderful magical society, probably by transforming everything in sight. If you can't beat them, teef them! Votes are in the comment section, and today we have two very important ones to decide the direction our society will take.
RESEARCH
* Exploration - Do we wish to scout and explore? To see all there is to see?
* Infrastructure - Do we wish to build the best buildings? To have pipes and factories?
* Comfort - Do we wish to have a cozy society? With blankets and pillows and money?
* Warfare - Do we wish to see our enemies crushed underpaw? To defend and subjugate?
POWER
* Transform - Do we seek mastery of form and species? A society where anyone can be anything?
* Convert - Do we seek mastery of will and purpose? A society where all shall join us in harmony?
* Itemize - Do we seek to transcend the flesh? A society of steel and rubber instead of blood?
* Curse - Do we seek to undo our foes? A society where the inclement are reshaped to serve our bidding?
* Steal - Do we seek to harness the fortune of others? A society where concepts and attributes are traded like coin?

Infrastructure/Itemize
Since the beginning of time, we have sought to overcome our limitations. Only now can we truly realize that our devices, our buildings, our technology... they were but a preparation to enhance ourselves.
Comfort/Transform
The first step upon these lands was with paws, balanced on tails and clothed in fur. As the future beckons, we shall shape our own limbs, fly on our own wings, and drape ourselves in the fruits of wisdom. What good are we to transcend humanity if we remain shackled to human ideals of success?

An empire cannot exist in isolation. We shall learn from those who seek us harm, and too late will they find that they were their own worst nightmare. Your claws are our claws, your scales our scales, and your dreams shall fuel our own. Worry not: we shall use them far more effectively than you ever could.

For our initial actions...
I'm thinking we should focus on INFRASTRUCTURE for now. Get us set up, and ready for a future in this world. As for powers, my vote is for TRANSFORM there are so many things we could have other things be. For us, with us!

Infrastructure and Convert!!!
By converting other societies to our own by proselytizing, missionary work, or even just by providing a good example, we stand to gain a hell of a lot, especially if we have the infrastructure to support a larger population. Transforming ourselves risks societal cohesion, especially if individual rights are respected.
