So I was looking through some old (and I mean OLD) drawings of Kai with alternate hairstyles and I got to thinking...
At this point, the classic maned Kai has more or less become a comic character rather than a fursona, so I was thinking of how I could "reclaim" him for more personal use. At least, some way to differentiate the "character" and the actual representation of myself. Thus, BOOM! Haircut! :D
Not only that, but a cut that matches my own~! ^w^
So yeah! Outside of comics, this will be Kai's new "default" look!! Hope you guys like it! ^A^

Are you kidding me? I'm never losing the mane~! ^A^
Trimmed Kai will be a neat addition to another thing though, so those of you who inevitably like the joke edit more will definitely see the design again! ;3
