Macro March: Apocalyptic Appetite
By: RaddaRaem & BenDragon
"Excuse me, Miss-"
Audrey screamed internally. She was supposed to clock out for lunch nearly half-an-hour ago. Twirling about in place, the dragoness' apron, stained with a rainbow of colors swishing along her thighs, Audrey turned to face the fresh-faced black Labrador. "Is there something I can help you with, Sinclair?"
The new hire, his sleeves rolled up, uneasily juggled a bowl of batter in one hand while he whisked it with the other. "What's the difference between brown and golden-brown again?" he asked.
"Just let me slip out of my uniform and leaveeeeeeeeeeeeeee," she mentally pleaded. It was torturous being here around all this food. Shaking her head, Audrey gently slapped at her cheeks as she while regained her composure. The quality of every pastry produced in these ovens was her responsibility whether she liked it or not. Such was the life of a head baker, after all.
With some reluctance, Audrey tightened the draw strings of her apron. Motioning for Sinclair to follow, she led him towards a vast wall mounted oven. Heated coils, burning red, hissed inside as all manners of dough rose atop them. The dragoness tugged the oven door open and winced as a heated blast of air washed over her scaly features. "If you're still struggling to eyeball it..." Audrey trailed off as she plucked a toothpick from behind the scaly ridges lining the sides of her head, "Let's go by something a little more concrete, huh?"
"Brown is burnt," she casually stated as she pierced the surface of a loaf of bread. Cracks spread across its flaky surface and tumbled to the bottom of the oven where they shriveled into blackened crumbs. Audrey could already imagine it crunching between teeth. Her jaw straining to ground it to a mash coating her tongue.
"Whereas golden-brown is Goldilocks!" Audrey declared while she poked the same toothpick into a rising and wobbling cake. A tiny pinprick, just barely visible, pocked the baked good's surface. With a flick of her wrist she retracted her hand from the hot and hungry mouth of the oven before waving it before the Labrador. "See? Not even so much as a trace left behind on the toothpick. No crumbs. No dough. No nothing!"
Chin tucked against her shoulder, Audrey looked back at the fluffy pastry. S-so puffy. The thought of it melting in her mouth, the buttery frosting sinking heavily into her stomach, consumed her.
She shook her head and gathered her thoughts. "As for when something's undercooked... I mean. I don't have a cute rhyme for that you're on your own," she snorted.
The Labrador nodded slowly in apparent understanding. "Ooh that helps!"
Biting down on her tongue, Audrey resisted the urge to ask if there was anything else she could help him with. He was hesitating. She knew she JUST knew.
Sinclair hmmed and hawed as the lessons imparted obviously struggled to sink in.
Audrey's clawed toes clacked noisily against the tiled floor while she made her not so subtle exit. She'd never get out of here otherwise.
"Actually, Miss ..."
Dirtied apron tossed into the corner, the dragoness slid on her hoodie and ducked out the back. "Good enough you're on your own!" she sighed with a roll of her eyes. Steady slaps echoed around her as those thick feet slammed against the damp pavement lining the alley. Audrey dragged her hands along the horns lining her cheeks. Always. Always always always, without fail, the new hires waited until before her break to bombard her with questions. "By all means, PLEASE, hesitate to ask," she groaned.
GRUMMMMMMMMMMMMMBLE
Pinching at her tummy, Audrey whined softly. While she would have liked to saunter out the front, sneaking a handful of old bread slated for the dumpster on her way out, circumstances simply didn't allow it. No way she was going to risk it. Heaven knows how many bakers, much less customers, would have hounded her on the way out.
RUUUUUUUMMMMMBLE
"Tummy please," the dragoness pouted. "This diet has been hard on the both of us, I know," she mumbled. A damp chill, courtesy of the spitting rain, took hold of Audrey's trim form. She shivered as she stepped out of the alley and ambled down the sidewalk. Restaurants, stretching on for blocks and all of them her favorite, teased her with those familiar neon signs beckoning her inside.
The rain intensified. Pedestrians rushed off the soggy streets as water slammed against them sideways and the sky above darkened.
Mmphhh. Hands shoved into her pockets, Audrey stood before a cafe and locked eyes with her own reflection. Shoulders bunched, the dragoness watched bashfully as her mirror image filled out wider than she was tall. Those swollen lips. That distended stomach. Then there were those thunderest of thighs chafing together. Every day, without fail, Audrey used to swing by here after work. Gallons of bubble tea, dozens of walnut cookies, and sushi enough to fill a pond vanished down her gullet whenever she visited. She didn't regret it, not even for an instant, but... the impact on her figure was profound.
GRNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
Audrey's clothes clung tightly to her curves as the downpour intensified. Just down the street was the Shawarma place! Their yellow rice and garlic sauce was just divine!
THOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
Lightning roared overhead as did sonic booms of thunder. The inclement weather drowned out the wails of Macro March sirens droning in the distance.
Hands clasped together, Audrey sniffed and snuffed at the grease tinged air. Enchiladas, tortillas, tostadas... she could practically taste the meats and cheeses wafting along the air.
THOOM
THOOM
THOOM
The cracks of thunder grew rhythmic as if pounding in concert to Audrey's footfalls.
Tongue rolling along her lips, Audrey dropped to her knees and inhaled deeply. "S-surely it wouldn't kill me to cheat just once. Just tonight..." the dragoness openly mused as her appetite, long denied, grew ravenous. Rear resting atop her heels, that spiked tail undulating excitedly behind her, Audrey curled her toes as her thighs filled the street.
Hunger, absolute and overwhelming, overtook the dragoness. Jaws parted wide, she reached out for the Tex-Mex restaurant. Its roof crumpled against the contours of her fingers and chunks of concrete tumbled down from its foundation when it was hoisted up into the air. Eyes wide, Audrey just couldn't resist!
NOMPH
The structure slid along the pink mass filling her mouth, a river of saliva disintegrating its base out from beneath it, before the restaurant against the back of her throat. Terrified patrons shrieked as they, and their tables, slid along the floor and beads of saliva dripped through the ceiling. That was to say nothing of their reaction to the walls collapsing in as the muscles lining the dragoness' throat compacted around them and sent them all cratering down into her gut with a muffled splash.
BRAPPPPPPPPPP
Blushing, Audrey watched as her petite tummy immediately billowed forward and spilled across her thighs. More. The Shawarma place soon followed. Those swelling fingers, scraping a scar into the asphalt, ripped it and the natural gas lines right out of the earth before unceremoniously devouring it whole. It barely registered as a lump in her throat.
"MORE," she roared. If she was going to cheat... why not go all in? Dropping upon her stomach, Audrey reached forward and simply dragged her softening arms along the earth. City block after city block was forcefully drawn towards her as hundreds of thousands of calories, and people, vanished between her lips.
GLURK
Audrey's petite form became anything but as her ass inflated along with her breasts and belly. Her diet shot, the dragoness' form slowly reverted to the once plusher dimensions it adhered by.
GULP
Down went the Chinese cafe now but a tiny speck lost between her taste buds. So too was the fate the specialty grilled cheese shop. And the custard shack. And the barbeque joint. Annnnnnnd the food trucks foolish enough to think they could escape. Myriad honks, and a faint bleat, echoed up from within the lightless depths of her throat before being silenced by a belch.
"MOOOOOOOOOORE," Audrey's incomprehensible voice bellowed as her gaping mouth came to span the horizon and those ravenous eyes glistened like twin moons in the stormy sky. They swiveled towards a familiar bakery, one whose decadent aromas teased her day in and day out. The cakes, the loaves, the conchas, the donuts, the cookies... all of it. She would have all of it! Every crumb, every sprinkle, every morsel, and every coworker!
Swollen face parted wide, Audrey bashfully scooped it up between her puffy palms before cupping her once confining place of employment to her lips. Rising to a kneeling position the dragoness inhaled deeply of its culinary wonders, nearly losing it inside her nostrils.
Pudge, rippling across her rear at the speed of fat, hypnotized Audrey's soon to be pancaked onlookers. Even with their destruction imminent that all-encompassing rear put their minds at ease.
"I've never been one to turn down a company lunch," she teased with an ahhhhh before tossing it down her throat. Slapping at her chest, Audrey stifled a burp as she took to tucking her chin against her shoulder. Her diet shot and figure in ruins, she couldn't help but shyly ponder where all the remainder of the city would end up on her figure.
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUMBLE
Audrey's ever expanding stomach, its appetite insatiable, roared even as it was stuffed to near bursting. Deep inside her scaly gut, the dragoness' cavernous bellybutton creaking as her navel popped out, civilization struggled. Shrieks, beeps, and the crackle of live electrical wires pierced the otherwise lightless and gurgling abyss.
THOOOOOOOOOOOOM
The all-consuming colossus' former co-workers frantically jumped from one concrete island to the next as entire city blocks floated precariously atop an ocean of stomach acid. Street lights, flickering faintly, served as beacons for the survivors that remained.
SPLOOOOOOOOOOOOSH
Or so they thought. As skyscrapers and chewed up chunks of interstate rained down from above tsunamis of digestive juices flooded the crumbling metropolis. Everything, and everyone, vanished beneath the waves soon after.
BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP
Cheeks burning bright, Audrey belched as her friends, her family, and home were utterly subsumed into the thoughtless fat upon her thighs. She massaged at her taut tummy with a blush. "Better on me than under me..." the dragoness cooed as she shamelessly absorbed people into her pudge by the zip code.
Shifting about in place, earth splitting fissures radiating out from beneath her rear at her subtlest of movements, Audrey smacked her lips as she lapped up what remained of the sprawling city from within the faintest of creases in her flesh. Lightning tickled at her horns as the Macro March storm furiously pounded against her.
Her engorged breasts wobbled atop her heaving belly as the swollen and sopping wet dragoness fell back with a flop. With a contented sigh she embedded herself into a cataclysmic crater that sent plumes of dust and bedrock billowing into the atmosphere. Clearing her throat, Audrey coughed uncomfortably at the dry and scratchy aftertaste that untold tons of concrete and steel left behind. Lips pursed, her half-lidded gaze settled on the storm clouds churning above. Nostrils flared, she inhaled.
Columns of cloud, crackling with lightning, were drawn down from the heavens themselves as Audrey slurped down the storm with tornadic force. Equal parts refreshing and invigorating, electricity danced along her taste buds while entire lakes worth of water sloshed upon her lips. Her throat bulged with every swallow. As did her chafing thighs, bloated toes, plump tail, and absolutely obese everything else.
Delighted grunts and groans, exploding out from Audrey with the power of a sonic boom, accompanied her gorging. Heels bumping together, the wrinkles in her soles and toes akin to canyons, the dragoness simply grew and grew and grew as she took the entirety of the Macro March storm into herself. Acre after acre of forest, suburbs, and farmland smeared the bottoms of her feet as she swelled in relentless surges.
"MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE..." Audrey breathlessly gasped as her fattened cheeks and softening chins rubbed entire counties off the face of the map. Sparks, barely visible within the periphery of her vision, erupted from the horns lining the sides of her jaw as bridges, and railroads simply melted into and came to decorate the bony protrusions.
Yet it still wasn't enough. Rolling onto her side, Audrey's gut slamming into the earth with tectonic force enough to push apart continental shelves, the dragoness hungrily regarded the countries spreading out before her as her curves came to rival the planet's own. Mouth parted wide, her gaping maw stretching well past the horizon, the dragoness ahhhhhhed. If she was going to cheat on her diet just this once... might as well make it count!
NOMPH
North America came to coat her teeth while the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans rushed along her gums.
GULP
South America fared little better as the countries comprising it broke apart and slowly melded into her tongue.
GLURK
The dragoness inflated and fattened wider than she was tall, and out into the empty abyss of space, as she consumed. Dwindling before her, what remained of the Earth found itself pulled into Audrey's gravitational pull. It bumped, bounced, and badonked against her enormous ass and thighs before coming to rest within the creases of flesh lining her popped out bellybutton. Scaly flesh molded around the celestial sphere and slowly pulled it within the confines of her overstuffed navel.
Still she hungered. "MORE," Audrey roared as she set her sights on the planets slowly being drawn into her orbit. "MORE."
“MOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE.”
