And cool that you enjoy this "Super Smash Bros." inspired avatar by  PunkJax. Got it actually around the time when "Super Smash Bors. for WiiU & 3DS" came out. Came with a tag that can be printed out. I also like it supermuch.
Also gotta admit, I'd freak out and would be extremely happy to see Totodile outside of a regular Pokémon game. If there would be a Johto trainer in Super Smash Bros. and bring Totodile, Bayleef and Typhlosion along plus bringing a jolly looking amiibo, I'd be the happiest player and get superexcited! =3

I feel very lucky to have so many kind and generaous people enjoying Shiny in their company and receiving such an honor to have artworks just dedicated to give me a bright smile. I feel the most wonderful artworks are the ones that people get to bond over. I'm happy just like my dear Totodile mascot himself when others think of me deserving a friendly surprise. Thank you, Chico and Drew! You are both totodily awesome! (-^.=.^-)

In that regard, I wanna say that I'm sure that Shiny would always enjoy any reason to celebrate with his dudes. No matter if it's his hatchday or just a happy everyday party together with some playful dudes. =D
Oh, wow! Drew, Sofia and Bruce make quite the Pokéballoons! All superround like weather balloons and floating with helium just to the point of buoyancy and so that Shiny won't accidently get pulled into the air as it seems (though Shiny never really minds floating about and rather finds it amusing himself). Definitely a fun sight for Shiny to behold. =3

Shiny's expression and pose remind of the one in his reference sheet where he holds a yellow balloon, and got well redrawn here. He sure admires the size of his dudes.
Drew looks the most like if he could catch a gust or flap his wings to pull Shiny into the air here. Very jolly and squeaky appearance for him here with a stretchy shirt to impress with.
Sofia looks like she's communicating with Bruce, winking up there as if saying "See, I knew Shiny would enjoy our surprise!" She is very cute with her accessories and I'm sure that Shiny appreciates their idea.
In general the three of them look nicely varied with different angles in their poses; Chico. Well done! I love it! X3💜

Shiny sure must have had a great time there, getting to take his big balllooned buddies for a nice walk, enjoying their time together with a bunch of happy games, squeaky cuddles and looking that everybody got also some cake after they got to deflate. Even if that deflation might only have happened a bit later than that specific day. Shiny always enjoys having dudes over for a sleepover and might be that they told him that they mightlike to spend time at Shiny's room's ceiling, hehe. <X3
With them and possibly more of the friendly Pokémon that you sometimes draw, Chicio, this surely must have been a special and funfilled party for Shiny. And I adore that thought very much. ^_^

As said before, I enjoy your happy group pic a lot and hope that you also do so still. I'll definitely treasure it and should the day come when you possibly receive a scanner, I'd be happy to receive the scanned version of this one.

Oh, my! That's very sweet, Chico. But promise me that you only do so when it brings yourself also joy. I want the best for you and to not make you feel obliged to anything. You have of course always my permission to use Shiny if he seems like a good Totodile for having with your friendly circle of Pokédudes.

I would also always be happy to listen to anything that you feel happy to talk about. I'm always interested in where your ideas for your characters come from, if you plan to have like more trivia about them than just an appearance or random situation connected to them.

Well, in this regard Shiny did meet Sofia as well as Julia (though if that one only was from how I edited two artworks together).
You should at some point perhaps make like a list of all your OCs and a small info for each like what they like and what they possibly posess or what their professions are. X3

Ah, that would surely be neato. Do you consider every character that you draw to also become an OC of yours? I mean, you draw quite a variety of Pokémon already. Additionally, you got Digimon, Yo-Kai and other characters yet.
Are you just drawing what you are feeling like or do you have like certain stories or goals in mind?

I do like drawing Pokemon a lot, but as you can see, I do like drawing Digimon characters like Terriermon, Patamon, etc, and I do like drawing Yo-Kai Watch characters like Komasan, Jibanyan, Komajiro, etc.
I do have some comic stories on mind with Sofia, Rita, Julia and my other OCs, Shiny

Yeah, I gave him my real name. As you can see, Francisco is an incredibly tough Pokemon Trainer, stronger than Red. I will be drawing him more in future pics, mate

You know, I'm very good at playing Pokemon games, and I use good strategies on Pokemon battles. I beat the strongest Trainers on the games. So, yes, I created this OC that is a powerful Pokemon Trainer

That's fun to imagine. I must admit I personally wouldn't have the drive to become a Pokémon master trainer but I'd personally have a lot of fun learning about Pokémon and possibly specializing in my favorite ones. Like if I'd be lucky to travel around and meet people with my Totodile or other Pokémon that I like, that would be a great experience in itself.
If I could go for a certain career I'd probably want to live on a farm with many Totodile like a Totodile breeder. I mean, Professor Elm in Johto surely must have have contacts towards such places like every other Pokémon professor who introduces starter Pokémon to new trainers. ^_^
