Umbreon costume experiment 3
It worked!
It really, truly worked!
Jack gazed down at the foreign body below him, In a state of absolute shock. He couldn't believe it!
He could feel everything. His hands, his legs, his tail - He had a tail! A real, fluffy, squeaky tail!
Jack's new rubbery skin could barely contain the raw excitement building up inside. This was real! This was actually real!
Cautiously, Jack sat up, absorbing his surroundings. It was the same old room - but it no longer looked quite so dimly lit. He could make out even the tiniest cracks on the far side of the wall with his new, improved vision.
And the smell -
Jack gasped as his nose pounded in pain. Ugh, the smell! This room smelled absolutely awful! Was the last experiment here, how to make rotten eggs smell even more putrid?
Tears welling up in his eyes, Jack wished his nose wasn't so sensitive. So having rapidly heightened senses DOES have a downside . . .
It took the umbreon's nose several minutes of crying and hiding in a corner to get used to the stench. Once the throbbing pain began to subside, Jack finally began to focus on the rest of himself.
His new rubbery skin felt tight yet comfortable, and was even more sensitive to his surroundings than his nose. Even the slightest brush of air against it sent tiny pricks of pleasurable sensations to Jack's brain, making him moan with glee. It felt so . . . wonderful!
His insides felt weird. Jack wasn't sure if he even HAD insides anymore. It felt like everything inside of him had turned into gooey latex, bobbing and squishing with a few squeaks as he practiced walking. Not that It felt bad, of course. In fact, it felt rather pleasant, even better than when he was human.
when he was human . . . that seemed so long ago!
It only took a few minutes for Jack to master his form, trotting and skipping around happily as if he'd been a quadruped his entire life. This . . . this was amazing! Even better than being a normal pokemon!
Suddenly, Jack realized something else.
He wasn't breathing.
He paused for a second, expecting to suddenly collapse dead from suffocation. Yet, after a few minutes, nothing happened. Nothing at all. Jack grinned eagerly as it dawned on him:
He didn't have to breathe anymore!
For some reason, this made Jack even happier. He wouldn't need to rely on air anymore! He wondered if he could go underwater. Was the rubber waterproof? Fireproof? What else?
The new umbreon felt invincible. He hoped that this was permanent: he never wanted to be a human again. They were just so . . . weak!
He felt a million times stronger and faster than any human, and he hadn't even gotten to the power yet! The power. . . Jack could feel it inside of him, coursing through his body and filling every cell in his body with pure energy. Dark-type power. . . raw and brutish, power in its most naked form . . . and it was all his, his to control!
Suddenly, a hidden door opened, revealing a man clad in a white lab coat, face hidden by some kind of gas mask. Before Jack could react, the man threw a poke-ball straight at him, hitting him square on the cheek.
The pokemon stumbled a few steps back, shaken by the impact. Who was this person? Why did they do that?!? HOW DARE HE?!?
But before Jack could even try to resist, the poke-ball opened, bathing him in a mysterious red light. In a split second, he found himself squeezed into a tiny, black space, squirming helplessly as the ball shook. 1 . . . 2 . . . 3 . . .
Before Jack could even comprehend what was happening, he was caught. The scientist picked up the ball, holding it up to his face as he whispered:
"Sleep tight, my little umbreon. We'll find you a nice, kind trainer to take care of you. Don't worry, everything will be all right . . ."
Suddenly a wave of drowsiness hit Jack. He couldn't tell If it was just fatigue from the transformation or some kind of artificial drug, but he was getting sleepier by the second.
"Just relax, my little pet, relax . . ."
Jack complied to the mysterious voice, snuggling up and wrapping his fluffy tail around himself. Suddenly, the pokeball didn't feel cramped anymore. No, it felt . . . cozy.
As sleep overtook him, Jack imagined the future. Maybe being with a trainer won't be so bad. I hope they'll pet me often . . .
The anger washed out of him, Jack fell into a peaceful, deep sleep, eagerly dreaming of the amazing possibilities ahead.
Finally wrote the conclusion to the umbreon experiment series!
