Slate Grey pinstripe three-piece suit, "bicycle toe" loafers (square toe), solid color textured tie, shirt should have french cuffs. You may want a tie pin and matching cufflinks.
For the love of all that is good and holy, do not get center venting on the coat, go for an English cut with double venting, since it won't deform the lines when you sit down.
Go for wool (worsted wool), hopefully a middle weight, since wool breathes well, and can "reform" it's intended shape simply by being hung up properly overnight, instead of needing constant (and damaging) ironing. Cotton is good, but try to avoid polyester, we're not savages here, are we?
Silk is probably out of the price range for the suit itself, but the tie should be no trouble.
You may want to get a suitable overcoat for the suit, but eh.
You'll probably want your tie in a Full Windsor or Shell Knot, they're symmetrical, sophisticated, and less common with most men these days, as the majority are doing Half Windsor or Four-in-Hand knots for the mere sake of ease, rather than taste.

That'll show you how.

Well, double-breasted could work. If it were spring or early summer, I'd be advocating a Seersucker Suit.
I'm not as much a fan of double-breasted suits because they tend to look "bulkier", where as I much prefer understated or elegant lines.
ULTIMATELY, what really matters is what you feel most comfortable in. You could be wearing an incredibly expensive tailored suit, but if you don't like it, or feel comfortable in it, it's not going to help much D:.
