Yay! Greetings friends! Here we have one of the prime examples of the Zayta subspecies, the Zayta-Osea! Now for the description on this species.
The Zayta-Osea subspecies is a beach and ocean dwelling species which have evolved to accommodate to living in a much more water filled environment. Their homes are generally in self made huts along the coasts, but this species is also known to make their homes underwater as well. The Zayta-Osea have a greater lung capacity than the other Zayta, along with webbed feet and hands. Their most impressive feature is their rudder-like tail which is used to propel and steer the zayta at great speeds within the water. These Zayta also have greater senses with their antenna and can even use sonar to find other fish and Zayta within the water. The Zayta’s fur seems to be smooth, but in reality, their fur is actually thick and short. This fur is also coated in a special oil that allows water to glide right off the Osea’s fur. It is to be noted that the Zayta-Osea has some trouble surviving on land as they are not able to move as quickly outside of the water. Their capability to jump has also been stunted somewhat, however a Zayta-Osea’s tail slap is quite potent…
This was the second Zayta sub-species that I came up with, after the Zayta-ker and I shall introduce them... kind of in order...
