Greetings my fellow friends! Now to introduce the third Zayta of the four subspecies. This is the tough desert and volcano dweller! Allow me to explain them a bit further.
The Zayta-Raz is the volcanic and desert dwelling species of the Zayta race, able to deal with the extreme heat of their environments comfortably. The first greatest aspect of the Zayta-Raz is their fur, while most Zayta will have soft fur. The Zayta-Raz have very bristly fur which is both heat resistant and allows heat to escape for the Zayta’s body. Their ears are almost as large as the Zayta-Ker, however this is to help vent heat and regulate the internal temperature of the Zayta-Raz. Generally, their ears will be perked up if they are hot and folded back and down when they are cold or comfortable. Temperature changes is something this subspecies is quite renown for, able to estimate temperature and the change in it to a range of nearly five degrees. Their claws are oddly sharp for a Zayta and the toes of their feet tend to be wider spread apart to more easily walk upon loose gravel, sand, or volcanic ash.
So one more Zayta subspecies to introduce and then I will post up another art work I have of my first Zayta.
