This was a static display in front of the Vintage plane office. It's a Nieuport 17 biplane reproduction. The chalkboard near it bears the title "1st Persuit Grp," and the first name on the roster is Rickenbacker. The first American pilots to fly for France in the Great War started out flying the Nieuport before the more advanced and robust SPAD came out.
