We were RPing one day, Yoshigamer and I (he is now known as Topples the Tooncario - bit of a story there too), and he wanted one of my characters to fall in love with his (or something). I brought out my main candidate character, but try as I did, her personality just didn't allow anything like that to happen. It wasn't me not wanting to do that; I have to stay true to my characters or they don't make sense.

So, I suggested I create a new character and turned on the Random Pokemon Generator. Was going to make a lillipup / Psyduck hybrid. That caused Topples to panic.

So he said "just make a Salazzle".

So I did. Concept in 10 minutes. Art in 100.

This is Janice. She is an avid mountain climber, just living the dream. She takes her time and carefully navigates cliff-faces, refusing to use any raw Pokemon ability to help her aside from her own claws and strength. She weilds a large rock pick and an assortment of gear, including rope harness and grapple (on her right - you can't see it). She has a makeshift wingsuit in that satchel that she uses in order to get down from the mountain afterwards (her strong legs are build for hard landings).

There is a reason her right arm is covered up like that. And a lot thicker than the other. But that is a different story as well.
