As we get closer to the summer and the end of the school year for these two, things might slow down a bit. I love how this came out.

Love On Island
Month of Spring
It then became April and Alexis liked that. All due to the fact that as it was considered a spring month, that meant flowers were beginning to bloom on the island. She and her mother would spend a lot of time finding them and making crowns and leils of them for their wrists and ankles. The little sea otter would wear them as much as possible. And she wore them with pride and happiness to school. It got to the point she started to smell like them to. But nobody minded as it was a wonderful smell. And this day at school was no exception. “Morning Jack!” Alexis said as she joined the little folfsky on the beach for their regular class.
“Hey there,” he replied. The two really were back to the way they had been after last month. That made her happy.
“I tried some new ones this time! What do you think?” Before Jack could answer, some of her school friends who were female came up. The little male excused himself and to go find his friends. Alexis got a cute little pout as she wanted to hear his opinion. But her friends distracted her. They all said how cute she looked and they wished they had a mother like hers who did this kind of thing.
She wouldn’t get to be able to talk to Jack about this until later when it came time for swimming again. By now most of the kids really could but this was required throughout the entire year. During what could be considered the third grade, nobody in that year would have to take lessons, but instead begin with trying water sports and races in the liquid. Alexis heard about these and already felt a connection to try these. She certainly had something to look forward to next year. For now, the female was focused on doing well here for Savannah as most likely she would handle that kind of stuff in the future of swimming teams. But being an otter wouldn’t give Alexis an advantage as there were others who could swim just as well as her. Right now she was changed into her white swim suit that Jack had seen before. His was still the same green from when he had first been on her family’s boat. “You’ll swim with those on?” he asked as they got closer to the water. He was referring to the flower leils.
“Sure,” she replied. “My mom says she wore them all the time when she was swimming.” Suddenly Alexis put on a burst of speed by racing. “Race you!”
“Hey! No fair!”
Alexis was giggling and looking back to him with a happy smile. This was how she liked being with the little folfsky. His goggles were on in a flash. She made it with the male right behind her. Jack could see her through the clear water, her little rudder tail guiding her. Alexis’s legs were kicking like his. The female looked back at him with that same smile. Jack blushed again a little at the sight but then shrugged the feeling off. It was probably nothing. Still the two felt happy as this was what life was about. Just being with friends and having no care in the world. To forget reality even for some moments. And this was something in this moment the two didn’t think they would forget; even as adults. It was one of those memories you could look back on 20 years into the future. As well as making more memories. The two figured even with just a couple of months left in school, they would make more as every day was different. But soon the two would be thinking about what would happen for the summer.
