Haha - well, a LOT of people have suggested that I be a highlight at some point. I think what I'd need to do if I actually go through with that is get a panel of others to interview me. :) Would you guys be interested in that sorta thing?

I am sad to see there's no ranking anymore... but I welcome the new news section that is really cool! ^w^

Awww, I know - there are many who really liked that extra tagging and the Most Pawesome, but I think for the sake of making sure things remain 100% positive for everyone, it's a section best left out. And yeah! Every week I see one or more interesting things that I think is just so cool, so should be fun to share some with everyone.

I don't really agree with the 100% positive thing, I think many would look up and improve themselves to be, one day, in the Most Pawsome list... ;p

But I do agree on the reasoning for the news... News nowadays is just what makes more sensation, and, what makes the most sensation, to my dismay, in human nature, is mostly grief news only. (To the point where you could almost see the hosts of news *shows* smile as they announce something really bad happened, and good news are considered something secondary).
So a nice news section will be great! ;p

Oh man, yes, I HATE that the news focuses SO much on negative things when in reality, the positive greatly out-weighs the negative. With the random news thing, I told me editors two simple rules: it needs to be positive, and it shouldn't be political. :)

With Lite, I was expecting it was a short one. But still, there's plenty of stuff in it!
I think I remember the "ranks" in a prev pawpost or two... need to look more of them!

Also, chuckled a bit when I saw "human" written in red, like "beware, those who can't stand less haired monkeys" or something, ahah!

Heh - "lite" is what I use when there is no hihglight, since (to me anyway) the highlight is a big part of what makes the Pwa-Post so fun. And go for it! You can find them all in my journals. :)

Haha... yes well, the human in bold/red thing goes back to the very early years of the Paw-Post. There are a lot of people in the fandom that do not like humans in any kinky sense. So originally, I used to put them at the end of the list of pictures so folks knew that the end was where they'd find the dreaded humans. After we went to the Google Doc though and things started looking cleaner, we switched to putting things all alphabetically, so using the bold, bright red was the next best way to "warn" people that there was a human in the picture, just in case. :P

And for that, I can understand. People usually sign in a furry site for their furry freedom, so finding humans there would be a rare thing. The alphabetical order and the overall posts are well made in a professional way, I do say!

Yeah, the graphical posts are all in scraps, though I think they only go back to around Dec. 2017, which is when ImpXimon suggested I should also be doing it as an image post too because people tend to miss journals. The Journals go back to Oct. 2014, in fact, even prior to when it was called "The Paw-Post". :P

Yep - folks all have their preferences. I think the way we've done it now works best for everyone. And we've even had a few human characters as the highlight, included on actual, real human - WhoIsAdelaide - who models her feet on DA. :)

My favorite from this one is JungaBeast's work - super clean reference sheets are always fun to look at, and this is certainly one of those. I like how streamlined and crisp the design is; she looks like an adorable character~

Yar - JungaBeast has some really crisp stuff, plus I really like the way they do expressions as well. Which... reminds me, I need to poke them about possibly doing a highlight. :3
