Here we see someone with much more of a motivation to grant a wish. Willow's grandmother died, and Willow can't stop thinking about her. Willow has been in the background during Safeheaven, but this time they get to be a main character alongside Maple and Lily. They just unlocked their own essence, something willow wasn't sure was possible, and is now determined to get a wish granted, which is to bring Grandma Orchid back from the dead.
