Also, interesting how Highers are all for revenge on Nethers. They have, as Alfred pointed out, every right to DETAIN the Nethers if they have a suspicion, yet he says they have a right to destroy the Nethers. What are they? British MI5 with license to kill like James Bond?

Actually, now that I think about it, he said they had the right to kill a Nethere if he had committed murders, which Jonty did not do then... they should not do it.

Shad is a psychopath, remember how he threatened Lifi if she tells the truth. And considering the accusing Higher is, in a way, Shad's superior, he'll stick with him whether he lies or not.
And even if Jonty DID kill someone before, the Highers don't have any right to kill him. Detain, yes. Kill, no.

Yes, we all know that Shad is a psychopath, and if we know that most of these patrollers... are corrupt and knew that the abuse of power was wrong, we can not say that what Ogren said is not true, not because not want, if not because the laws in that world we still do not know, the vast majority, apparently supports the Higher can destroy the Nethere if they have committed a murder... the good thing we know we all know Jonty, did not kill anyone, and then what the patrollers tried to do was bad... yes, only if they were sure that such a nethere committed a murder they could do that, which they did not know and therefore also , that was wrong...

Yea, sure, sure, the 'angels', 'patrolmen', 'guardians' were about to commit triple murder with premeditation with previously induced torture, but yea, sure, still throw blame on Jonty and say that he's 'suspected of murder' and it's obviously the one and only way that one of 'us' is the guilty one/s, and obviously not one of those D-bags that we just gave evidence that did applied serious damage to the 'suspect', so the 'trial' should come to an end right there and now.
