A practice piece from my part. Right now I don't have any commissions to work on :/

I practice so many different subjects here! From different brush textures (failed) to a painterly style (somewhat successful) to light bounce and ambient occlusion (I guess ok) to actual backgrounds and a bit of post processing... I guess I forgot to take in consideration composition :/
Also the gesture isn't very flowy imho.

I'm surprised it didn't take that long to finish it, it took 2-3 sittings, I'm estimating 8h. But I guess coloring wasn't that difficult since it's mostly gray. I'm having a BIG HARD TIME "seeing" values, so for now I'm practicing grayscale with a bit of color. I'm super satisfyed how the tail turned out, but I had to use a multiply layer for the markings. I have a ton of stuff I need to learn for this kind of art and I'm getting a bit frustrated because I'm learning very slowly. I want to get better, I want to do better art!
