This is an OC I've had in my head for a while now, so I finally decided to draw him for Equestria Daily's Open Art thing, and I hope I still managed to make the deadline. If not, well, I can at least I can still use a non-reference variation of this drawing as cover art for fan-fiction about him or something.

First, I just want to start by saying that the raised foreleg was quite the challenge. There are many artists I admire who add more detail to their pony legs, that goes beyond the show's simplistic style to have legs that actually look like equine legs, which is what I aim to do as well, but throughout all of their galleries I couldn't find a single example of a pony posed the way Dexter is in this image, so I was pretty much on my own in figuring it out. Luckily, in the end I managed to do so, and I'm satisfied with the result.

Species: Grullo Dun Unicorn. His primitive markings sometimes get him mistaken for a zebra or a zony, but he is neither.

Special Talent: Card Master. All things card related, as well as magically manipulating them, just come naturally to him. Card castling, card throwing, card counting, card games, card tricks, card everything. You name it, he can do it.
Occupation: Royal Guard by day, Stage & Street Magician by night (and sometimes the other way around).
