But yeah, Grogar is fricking awesome. I've been a fan since G1 and his appearance in G4 did not disappoint; not only that it was lore-accurate to G1 which was something that has not been done with the other G1-to-G4 intros thus far. Plus his cold attitude is something I can get behind.

I was so sure that once defeated by the Ponies he would simply re-appear with the rest of the villain group, and then admit he needs to work with the rest of them.
Feels almost like the show made him to even more of a joke, since they just got rid of him so quickly.

Honestly loved S9 Sombra as well. Him just being this silent force of evil, while cool, was kinda boring compared to the hamminess of Nightmare Moon, the nonsensicalness of Discord, the absolute lunatic control freak of Chrysalis, the power-hungry narcissistic daddy issues of Tirek, the sadness induced rage of Starlight, the GRAGH of The Pony of Shadows, and the shameless pure evil of Cozy Glow. And according to the stories about Grogar, he was literally the vilest person in Equestria. So the Umbrum King getting the personality of an egotistical sorcerer was quite the joy.
