Akari Sasaki is a cheerful, and slightly mischievous Tanuki, specifically a Bake-danuki. Her origins are unsure, while she might know Japanese, and claims to be born from there, she has no memories of where she was born and raised, how long, or any such thing.

She is a youkai, and as such has access to various supernatural powers such as transformation and illusion, often using leaves as foci. While she lives in the west, she still favors a lot of her home culture, and has no issue turning other people into various youkai to extend her circle of friends.

She also loves sake dearly.
