I'm still relying WAAAY more with references and DesignDoll for the Anime fanart I do. Atleast way more than people who are learning how to draw anime. I just took shortcuts because I just wanna make some images happen, and am too impatient with waiting for other people to draw it for me haha.
Shading in anime is tricky, but I'm glad you think its good though. I'm doing a different approach with shading here than I do with my regular art. :D
