May I ask if you shade using grayscale or straight on use colours? Because I can't for the life of me figure out how to do grayscale or be patient enough to just shade and switch different colours while drawing a character with complicated patterns QwQ
Is there a simpler and less messy way of doing so or do you simply use a crap ton of layers and be really patient?

I don't know how to draw with grayscale method, I draw using colours at once. Don't be lazy, it's interesting to choose colours! Well, in the end of my work, I may include some adittional layers with colours I haven't added before. Sorry for my english, I hope you'll understand what I mean!
