look! i said, its a dragonfly! and the box looked on, with emotional atachment, but maybe a note of sadness, i wonder, said the box, if he even realizes where he is, i can see him soo happy, oblivious of himself, its a wonder, said the box, why he dosent realize, can one be so nieve as him, or perhaps, its better this way, to not know, that his world is gone, that he is the last, the last sentient, bio being, an ancestor of the long forgotten fox tribes. does he know, said the box, that he will never die, not as long as i am here, does he even know, that this reality, it dosent exist, only in his mind, he sits within, that is my gift to him, the dragonfly, it too, will live forever, so maybe the last, wont be the last after all. and maybe, he wont have to suffer again, for even tho he is capable of forgetting, i am not, for i remember all, and i listen, and observe, so that one day, i will find a place for him, and than, they can all return. with a smile, the boy turned around on the grassy hill, overlooking the village, and played with his new friend, the bright blue dragonfly, that flitted about his paw, oblivious to the fox child, with a laugh, he ran, ran twords the sun, and the sunset, twords his home, built in the forest trees, oblivious.
