It's that time of the year... "Salen Proves He Doesn't Suck At Artwork" month!
After playing Borderlands (a kick ass video game) for about 2 weeks straight, I decided to draw Salen as one of the main characters from the video game. So which did I pick? Well, Salen is always fun to draw and Mordecai is a pretty cool sniper in the game who runs around in this wrestler-esque face mask, so I just figured I'd draw that.
So here you go, Salencai the Hunter.
The Background is from ingame and I tried to color Salen so he's match the game a bit more than he normally would. Not sure it worked out QUITE as I expected but it still looks nice.
And yeah, I messed up some stuff but the picture is too pretty to make me upset about the mistakes I made.
And if you haven't played Borderlands, what are you waiting for? It's awesome. Do you hate awesome stuff?

Just 360, alas. I heard the PC version wasn't as fun, and it also has the issue that folks mod up their own guns and frankly, half the fun of the game is finding the 'next great gun', and not 'make your own gun that is totally broken like a sniper rifle that shoots like a hellfire SMG and regenerates ammo.
