e621's tagging system is a complete and utter mess, not just because of their "tag what you see, not what you know" motto basically saying it's PERFECTLY FINE to mistag a character so long as you "see" it, but they straight-up merge tags that are entirely unrelated, most heinously with their horrible fusions of the futanari, herm, and bustyboy tags into one "intersex" tag... despite all three of those having very distinct differences.
To say their system is a piece of actual garbage is to insult garbage.
