It's been a year since I've had to put Bruce down and I still get really torn up over it when I think about it.
I guess it's because he's the first cat I've ever really had to put down, the only other time I had to put a pet down was one of our dogs when I was five and I didn't really grasp what death meant I guess.
But idk, I just...I feel dumb for being so upset over a cat, but it just really hit me hard. I miss him a lot, and I miss midnight too...So this could be either one of them, really.

We went and got another cat a couple months later from the same shelter we got Bruce from. I knew we could never replace him but I knew I wanted to adopt another black cat and now we have Spooky.
