I like my stallions to have more smaller/narrow eyes and slighty sharper edges but at the same time I don't want the face to look too similar to a human's and give an uncanny vibe to it. That, and the face hardly ever fits the character (like Butterscotch for example) so I just stick with normal round eyes 99% of the time.
Semi-unrelated, but this looks really similar to a Dash pic I'm working on currently so sorry in advance. :\ I mainly wanted to practice my wings and make them look not as sharp and stiff since I had trouble with it on the Dash drawing.
Just pretend it's a genderbent version of it I guess, lol.
