Here is some more Sonic SATAM related fan art, this time a custom Freedom Fighter group i did thematically consisting of woodland style animals. I tried to retain an overall accurate feel to the series and make it look like characters that could have been in it.

Here are some encapsulated descriptions of each character, i also decided to give them code nicknames corresponding to the animal they are as well as their designated positions in the team.

Chris "Bucky" Jones- Beaver: Leader of the Wooland Freedom Fighters, he is mostly known by his teammates by his nickname "Bucky" although they occasionally affectionately refer to him as "Ol Sawtooth" and aside from being the commander in charge of the team's missions he also is an exceptional scientist who devotes quite a bit of time in creating various inventions to use, his genius and skills make him a great asset in the struggle to liberate Mobius. Although partially Robiticized, he doesn't let it dampen his scientific and inventive pursuits although he does long to eventually be completely organic once more. Still, in some cases his natural beaver traits including his chompers come in use when he really needs them.

Robbie "Slick" Foxworthy- Fox: Mechanic, he is very much the Rotor of the group. Everyone refers to him as "Slick" because he can always be found tinkering and hammering away on various machines including transports which require a lot of maintenance, and he'll be working on things for hours on end covered in grease and oil. It can't be denied that he really knows his way around mechanical devices and various types of vehicles and spacecraft, this is where his expertise in these areas really come in handy during a crisis. Partially Robiticized though he is, he does eventually hope to be returned to normal somewhere down the line.

Kerri "Ringtail" Ann- Raccoon: Communications, she is the main source of communication and connections between her team and the other Freedom Fighter groups. She often keeps tabs on the network to the resistance operations as well as maintaining the lines on a daily basis, which includes at nighttime where her natural raccoon instincts including her keen sense of vision helps keep a watchful eye for danger. She too was also partially Roboticized though saved before being turned completely, but eventually she seeks to restore herself to normalcy as soon as she's able.

Heath "Hooty" Marsters- Owl: Medic, he is the primary medic as well as doctor for the group. His expertise in medical procedures and field aid really come in handy in the middle of battle, plus his added ability of flight allows him to tend to an injured fighter at any given time. Given the constant dangers that the resistance goes through, he is definitely an important part of keeping them all in good health and prime condition.

Tucker "Claw" Barrett- Bear: Heavy Weapons, he is the muscle of the team in charge of providing heavy artillery when things get really dicey. He mostly remains at a reasonable distance especially when using his trusty rocket launcher "'Ol Reliable" which always sends the enemy packing, but when the situation calls he is always prepared to get down and dirty with his claws. For the most part though, he prefers to let his launcher and other assorted weapons do the talking.

Sean "Scratch" Travers- Bobcat: Counter Intelligence, he is the forward scouting and intelligence gatherer of the team. Much of the reporting on the enemy's whereabouts is performed by which him makes it to where their resistance strikes are better coordinated as he forges ahead in, making him a key part in the passing along the information for coming conflict.
