A little Badger hobbyist craftsman building a model sail ship.
For some reason I really wanted to try making this, mostly for character modelling and fur practice.

Seriously, how awesome is this? From the thumb it looked like someone posing in fursuit, and even expanded it's a feast for the eyes. He literally looks like a satin silk plush toy and, at least I, can easily imagine how he and his work bib would feel to the touch.
Amazing job, truly so. I particularly enjoy the fore-lighting reflecting off the dust and such. Wonderful attention to little details like that.

I just want to add, all of the little, LITTLE details really make this work so wonderfully. I love the wood shavings, the glue on the bottle, the doily on the wall shelf, the next room behind mr. badger, and even the curtains. This piece is absolutely gorgeous in so many ways.
The only thing I wish would have been added would be nails on the hands, and that'd totally seal the deal for me. Otherwise, I think it's fantastic.

O_O AutoDesk 3d's Studio Max <.< DAMN!! >.> How long did it take you to render it? O.o and you did use manta ray raytracer right? -.- it takes my pc to render quite a while XD... Hmm Just another quick question <.< how did you start this project? did you go with standard wireframing or did you use NURBS for any of it O.o and where did you get the textures? Some look to be the defaults but others look imported.. O_O Im using 3ds Max 2009 O.o though 2010 did come out I think u.u...
Im my opinion that is pretty cool there and Im wondering how long did this take you to create for <.< it takes me per scene a good bit of time O.o I hope that you will continue to venture in the 3d realm. ^^ For I think its pretty neat.
