Admittedly I love the very-non-innocent kind as well, but there are some really good 'clean' artists in this community that tend to get pushed aside by the adult material - and their talent should be applauded at every opportunity :)

There is that and another thing that I've found can turn people away is not having enough brightness in the work. If there is not enough color, people tend to never go anywhere near it.
