So, wow. one of the REALLY amazing things about this page is that I found this crazy-innovative way to sketch things out on it, which saves a TON of times and helps with the quality. It's something I implemented partway through it and even though it's not visible here, believe me when I say it helps. I'll be showing the WIP to my $10+ Patrons as well as showing it off on some more livestreams once I figure out why my tablet lags when I stream.
Essentially, instead of sketching the OUTSIDE of things during my sketch process, I do a sort of "blocking" technique and fill the insides to create the shapes. It's really exciting and awesome for me and it's hard to convey in text how this feels like such a breakthrough. Hopefully it will help me get my comics and commissions out that much faster. Time will tell!

They said he 'keeps getting all this cryptic crap' - it's not him being cryptic, it's all the sources of information he's had on his new existence so far. All of them have been cryptic as hell, whether it's the weird dreams, the pink Istrala who condescended to him as he tried and failed to kill them, or anything else. He's gotta been confused and frustrated as hell, which unfortunately means he's no good as a source of info - since he doesn't have any, at least none he understands.
Also, we're still using gendered pronouns for him because he was a male human and probably still sees himself as male, but do Istrala even have sexes? Is he a neuter now? How are the little fusing demons (that I forget the name of, sorry) created, before they go out to find humans to bond with and become Istralai?
Really enjoying this comic, and looking forward to finding out more about this whole thing!

It also makes it impossible to accept that they could anything other than bloodthirsty monsters luke everyone says. The one other Enyo was there to slaughter the village, and acts like it was justified yet doesn't explain anything. Given what's been shown in-story they're all evil and the protagonisy is the only outlier.
at the very least she can get a general sense of what hes thinking from his expresions and his eyes.
and at the very least he can still answer yes or no questions
the rest...gets complicated
regarding the girl how to go about healing her at this point depends on what part of her essense was stolen.
if it was purely life force that was taken that will recover naturaly over time but if a fragment of her spirit was taken only two things are gonnaf ix that
either they get it back, unlikely as the creature has probly already 'digested' it or...they replace it...something telse me big sis wont like the only way rohan knows how to do that...cause to date theres only one other creature that can interact with a soul that we have seen.
