Did you know? An unused idea for Super Mario Bros. 3 was a power up that would turn the player into a Centaur, but was scrapped and replaced with the Tanooki Suit. My uncle who works for Nintendo and totally exists, and also has nothing to do with the uncles I have who work for Disney and Square-Enix, was able to find this unused page from Mario 3's instruction book in his office archives, revealing that Princess Peach was going to be playable, presumably a carried-over design element from Mario 2/Mario USA.
