There are very few rich folk who end up making their livelihoods in the Desert Zones of Mobias, but they did exist. Lance was born into such a family. Though being wealthy in a continent where the poor was the majority would always mak ed you a target for thieves and criminals, and thus, Lance and his family were no exception. Lance was a mere pup unable to conjure up a single word when his home was attacked, so the memory of his family is vague at best. What he does know, is that his parents managed to send him to a safe orphanage before they were struck down. The only thing that was left with him was a red beret, one he assumed belonged to his father. Lance was always the quiet one, the one too shy to talk to others, that is until he was befriended by a group of jackals.
