Actually, that's an ß, the "ess-tset." It's kind of hard to describe properly in typing how it sounds. It's also a typo on my part.

Kind of a protracted "s" sound. Like "ss." It's usually transliterated into english as a double S.

Nah, those units are too weak for that purpose. They can work non-stop for a week without recharging, though. They are valued for their longevity and reliability, not for power. :B
