Let me tell you - doing vector art (as a complete amateur) is both easier than it looks, and harder than it looks.
Easier - because you'd think it's waaaay more complicated. Plus, layers are great help!
Harder - because it's a huge step up from MS Paint and traditional media (I spend at least half an hour to figure out how to do curves so they look exactly like I want them to look)

Looks excellent though, striking silhouette, or something like that. Gashren the bear.
Vectors used to seem like the future of perfecting drawings to me, but with all the line tools and smoothing features now I can't think of a use for vector drawing myself.
