This is probably the first fight scene commission I ever received. I loved knightsfaith's style and rendition of several of my other characters, so years ago I came to him for a fight between Slash and Leon. The character's designs were still a work in progress at the time but thought I had something along the lines of what I liked.

Way before I had the C.F.A. story figured out, I had made these two rivals. Leon was to be the heel to Slash's face. The Frieza to his Goku. The Yankees to his Red Sox. I can keep going but I'll spare you all any more lame analogies.

This particular scene became iconic for me and now that I actually do have the C.F.A. story plot going, this will be written into the Chapter 16 fight. How will it fit and what will be the outcome when things are all said and done? I hope that you will stay tuned to see!
